DANTE is a contemporary Italian restaurant specializing in Napoletana Pizza & Aperitivo, ideally located on the ground floor of Legacy Suites, in the heart of Heraklion, Crete, at Eleftherias Square.
Just a short distance from the Heraklion Archaeological Museum and the city’s main shopping district, DANTE is a landmark destination for both visitors and locals seeking an authentic Italian gastronomic experience in a vibrant urban setting.
Contemporary Napoletana Pizza lies at the core of DANTE’s culinary identity. The dough is matured for 72 hours, resulting in a light texture and excellent digestibility, while authentic Italian ingredients are used throughout, including San Marzano tomato sauce, premium Italian cheeses, and selected cured meats. Signature pizzas include Nerano, Gorgonzola, and Spianata Piccante.
Aperitivo is an integral part of the DANTE experience, featuring classic cocktails such as Spritz, Negroni, and Paloma, alongside modern, creative interpretations including St Germain Spritz, Apples, Miso Margarita, and Mandarin Garibaldi.
Wine plays a central role in the philosophy of DANTE, with a carefully curated list and cellar featuring distinctive labels from both Greek and Italian vineyards, designed to complement the menu harmoniously.
